Caretaker Handyman Required
We are seeking a retired gentlemen to help maintain our building and gardens looking prim and proper. The work would be suited to a retired gentlemen who enjoys working outdoors. The role includes the following:
- Mowing Lawns and weeding
- Sweeping Yard and Verandas
- Washing Windows
- Basic Capentry
- Basic Painting and repairs

Work in New Zealand
The Riccarton Village Inn welcomes applications from hospitality students from around the world seeking to experience work in New Zealand.
Internships can be adjusted to meet the student needs but must be for a minimum of 3 months. Depending on you language ability you will be rotated throughout each of the departments housekeeping and functions, front office, food and beverage, the internship is not a paid work placement. You are not charged for the internship.
You will have the opportunity to shadow employees, practice English in real life situations and develop practical skills that can only be learned in a working environment. So far our internees have come from as far apart as Thailand and Germany.
