Hotel Director's Family Trip to Lake Tekapo
Originally from Chiang Mai Thailand, Watchara and her husband Wiwat are now well and truly settled in Christchurch with their three sons. Trained as a nurse and later working as a manger of a language and Computer School fate has brought her to Christchurch and the Riccarton Village Inn. Watchara enjoys golf and taking her sons to the nearby parks and gardens. We are the only hotel offering the famous Kiwi efficiency with a Thai smile.
U&I Tours Visit Riccarton Village Inn
On Xmas day Miss Belrina Kim, Operator for the South Island, visited the Riccarton Village Inn as part of a familiarization tour of the South Island. Belrina has only recently joined U&I Tours and is enjoying her first taste of adventure in the South. She will return to Auckland after Xmas having visited Queenstown and Lake Tekapo.

Unique Holiday Tour Comes To Stay
After 3 weeks away visiting every inch of the South Island. Margaret Jones and George Rigas of Unique Holiday Tours bring their guests to stay at their 'Home away from home' accommodation in Christchurch, The Riccarton Village Inn.
During their 4 day stay in Christchurch, guests visit some of Christhcurch's most well known tourist attractions including Akoroa, while enjoying the hospitality of Riccarton Village Inn each evening.
The Tele Tubbies made a very popular appearance during the Unque Holiday Tour's 'Party Night', a special feature of George and Margaret's stay at the Riccarton Village Inn.

Riccarton Village Inn blessed by Thai Monk
A celebration to bless the Riccarton Village Inn took place during the School Holidays in September, attended by family and friends of the Directors Watchara and Wiwat. It also created great interests from the guests who were staying.
As with all celebrations a special meal has been prepared and was enjoyed by all those present.
